Delivery & Billing issues

After having my paper delivered only 50% of the time, they increased rates due to the need for more reliable delivery, I though well at least Ill get all my papers, NOT, nothing changed except my wallet being a little lighter, I then cancelled my subscription before my current subscription expired by phone as they request you to do, also by letter, they ignored both requests not to renew and continued to deliver my paper at about 50 tp 75% success .I again called customer service to inform them they are delivering paper when I cancelled, they said it would be taken care of, but, again nothing happened. I will never again subscribe to this failing paper, if you do, NEVER GIVE THEM you Credit Card number.

Paper not delivered today & last Sun.

I can only deduce that the non-deliveries were intentional because I didn't tip him or her at Xmas as I've done to other deliverers when I was an everyday customer.But he or she has pulled this stunt before with us,tho I couldn't figure out why, & let it pass as an error.Doesn't he think he makes don't make enough for sloppily dropping off a newspaper once a week close to my house..?I realize other customers tip for even this,but i just don't just for a weekly task. I never got 1 when I was a paperboy in SW Phila.,& what has really changed?I walked,he gets to drive,yet it's the same job. Anyway,his"punishment" of me really worked: Next Xmas I"m going to double my tip!If

Delivery of Paper. Customer Service Stinks.

Paper has not been delivered for one week. I called Customer Service every day and some days twice and every day that paper will be delivered this morning but nothing happens. Every day they promised to rectify the problem but noting has happened.

Prison Conditions/Complaints

I have a letter from an inmate at the Picc prison on State Rd which speaks about the conditions and treatment of the inmates there. Do you take such enquires?

No paper said they’d send out. Never did. Pay a lot of money for the paper annoying

No paper I called they said one would be delivered. And ads would come later. Neither happened Very annoying

Delivery problems

I live in an apartment building and our new delivery person is incompetent at best. If we get it at all, the paper comes after 9:00. Sunday's paper was never delivered even though I called the customer number and they said they would deliver one for me. This is the second week we did not receive a Sunday paper. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR????? Some people in the building are getting their papers. Others are not. I'm tempted to form a group in the building and cancel our subscriptions.

Bad delivery

Price. Extra charges

My newspaper was paid up till 10/16. My renewal bill says 9/28. Thats 18 days different. When i telephoned today i was told that date reflects extra charges for things like puzxle books, eagles insert etc...i told the lady i dont think there was 18 additional inserts in the 8 weeks i.paid for. I cancelled my subscription. .ive been s reader since i was a teen.. im now a senior citizen...its a shame the inquirer, like most american businesses has gone down the tubes. This leaves a bad taste and will never order it again. Shame shame on The inquirer...i.inderstand prices have gone up but to deny me 18.newspapers that i paid in advance for was the straw that broke the camel's back. I also get another newspaper delivered daily and never had a problem. Another american.institution ruined by greed.greed.

Digital version

For past 3 weeks been you have been tweeting an already unnecessary revamp of the inquirer which has many problems and should have been solved before making the new format available. The old version was better and did not need reformatting.

Service, delivery and newspaper stink

I dont have time or the interest to keep repetitive complaints aboutAbout the Philadelphia Inquirer. Everything about it stinks. Bad numbers on website. I have spent an hour and 1/2 wasted time trying to get missed deliveries and credit.I did write as much as I care to.

Delivery last 2 days

Continued missed deliver, telephone numbers not in service, numer trying to sell medical alert or roadside assistance.

Incomplete paper

We are Sunday subscribers. Last week our delivery was sections A-C only, this week it was D-H only. And, this happens at least once a month. Why are we not getting what we paid for?

Totally dissatisfied with delivery service.

I receive the digital version 6 days weekly and home delivery on Sunday. The Sunday delivery is a joke. Today is the second Sunday in a row with no paper. This is at least the 10th time I have not received a paper. In the past, I would report the non-delivery through the website and was promised a credit. The past 2 weeks the website would not allow me to submit the delivery issue so I had to call Customer Service which does absolutely nothing. If not for coupons, I would cancel Sunday delivery. If I had another option, I would cancel the Inquirer. How do you collect people's money and provide such poor service?

They put wrong dates on my vacation hold!! Now I wont get paper on the 10th of October. Your customer service reps are rude

Predatory Digital Subscriptions Difficult to Cancel

They make it extremely difficult to cancel your subscription, requiring you to call in to do so. Once you call, you are put on hold forever and then finally when you get to talk to someone they are rude and unhelpful. MI cancelled my digital subscription but never got any confirmation that I did so from them, so had to call back again and go through to awful phone system once more to get my confirmation.
