Check my record and you will see that a big problem exists with the delivery person at the Kennedy House, 1901 JFK Blvd. Phila. Pa 19103. It is now 10 a.m. Sunday 3/19/17 and still no paper. I don't want to read it on line. I want the paper. I will get a petition from...

Mr Chris

About 6 months ago I went through a period of many missed deliveries. I finally talked to a Mr Chris who took care of the problem until today. NO paper today so I thought Mr Chris would take care of it but when I called him I got his voice mail and it said his mail box was full . I reported my problem at 7:45 and was told someone would drop off a paper within 90 minutes. It is now 11:20 and no paper. I am losing my patience with the Inquirer needless to say. The main reason I subscribe is because I enjoy doing the puzzles. If you ever stop printing them, believe me I will no longer be a subscriber

I've had it

Because there has been less and less hard news, we've been thinking of cancelling our subscription, but hadn't largely out of inertia (and comics, though they've gotten so small they're almost impossible to read). We also do some of the puzzles, but the crossword is way to easy and uninteresting. Now, however, delivery service has gotten so sporadic that we're paying almost $60 a month for a paper that we get maybe 3-4 times a week. For occasional comics and puzzles? What's the point? So we just cancelled. To the extent we need local news we can find it on line. Otherwise, we'll read a publication with more actual news in it.

Can Not obtain Daily or Weekend

Our young family moved to Bethany Beach,Delaware area specifically Millville,Delaware 19967 ,and can not purchase a Daily News or an Inquirer, yey the Wilmington paper is delivered as well as the Wall Street Journel and The Giant and WAWA stores all carry the awful Daily New York Papers ,the Washington Post ,The Baltimore Sun and NO PHILADELPHIA NEWSPAPERS ,what is the problem there are many Philly and New Jersey people who have purchased new homes and can not get there home town paper, We have been loyal customers for over 40 years and are children enjoy staying in touch with local sports ,etc. Just does not make sense when numerous publications are going out of business for lack of interest ,I am sure this will end up in the closest wast basket ,but there has to interest from a monetary view to increase your viewers in Bethany Beach and the surrounding area ,your thoughts would be appreciated.

Since Wayne Robert retired recently the puzzle is now an insult to our intellect. It is so simple we no desire to complete it. You can (should) do better!! {{Redacted}}

I am disgusted with the author of your crossword puzzles. I have been a subscriber for over 50 years and thoroughly enjoyed doing your puzzles.

The new puzzles are child-like for the first three days of the week and make no sense and are completely unsolvable the rest of the week.

Please make a change or I will have to look at other subscriptions in my area. Thanks for listening.

One of the only reasons I still buy your daily has been the crossword. Williams, and Reagle before him, created clever and challenging, but not unsolvable, puzzles.

Ms. Matthews' are neither. The current version is simply, too simple, and has no entertainment value.

She may be better suited for your poor step-sister, the Daily News. Please consider a replacement, and I won't have to consider another publication.

The new crossword puzzle is created for a child. I use to finish maybe 10% now I've completed 5 in a row and each one under 14 mins.

I and my wife are retired we enjoyed doing them but now they're useless. I'm thinking of canceling my subscription which I've had for decades, it's a shame but we no longer look forward to it.

My 91 year old mother never receives her paper

I have been an Inquirer subscriber for many, many years. I have also been giving my mother a Sunday Inquirer subscription as a Christmas gift for many, many years. I have never had a problem getting my paper. My 91 year old mother never had a problem until, about a year ago, the friendly gentleman who used to deliver her paper quit. Delivery then started to be sporadic and, when she did receive her paper, she had to search for it in the middle of the courtyard in front of her apartment. I called and asked that it please be placed in front of her door. Now she has not received a paper in about 2 months. I call the Inquirer every Saturday and Sunday and advise that she did not get her paper and ask for a return call from a supervisor. I never receive the courtesy of a return call. She never receives a replacement paper (which doesn't really matter because, if the paper is not there on Saturday, she walks - with the assistance of a walker - a total of approximately 7-8 blocks to the nearest 7-11 to get her Inquirer. She has always enjoyed getting her paper every Saturday and Sunday. I am shocked that a company such as the Inquirer would treat its loyal customers in such a poor manner.

It sounds like you have a legit complaint, but continually bringing up age makes it appear like you are looking to get people to feel sorry for you. I have no doubt that anyone at any organization that would read such a complaint would automatically assume you are trying to utilize her age to your advantage. Bad service is bad service, regardless of age.

Dissapointed

worst customer service - had delivery for over a year and when a new carrier never bagged the paper which caused wet paper every time it rained, I contacted customer service by phone and/or online and never got a paper replaced I called to cancel since this happened 10 times in 30 days. Unfortunately the customer service department didn't bother to relay this to the carrier as well as any other complaints I had so had to call back the next day to again cancel again and make sure to get a refund for the 7 weeks I already paid for. It took 4 weeks to get the credit and it is not the amount that was quoted. It is about $2 less which is not worth my time to contact them again but I will spend my time making sure nobody else wastes their time with this horrible customer service department. Moved on to another local paper

Why??

Why is is so hard for the Inquirer to find delivery managers and drivers who want to do a job as they are contracted to do? Obviously people all over the delivery area have the same problem I do--POOR DELIVERY, POOR RESPONSE! Some of us still like to have a physical paper to hold and read in the morning with our coffee. This starts the day off right for me, and always has, for decades. Only in recent times--the past 4-5 years or so, has the delivery become a massive problem....yet the price of the incredible shrinking paper continues to rise. What a disappointment, Every time my bill comes, I ask myself if it is worth the money to continue this frustrating exercise--hoping to get a paper at least by 7 am, and being disappointed every day with either delayed paper or sometimes, no paper. So again, I ask--WHY? Aren't there people who would like to earn a paycheck as a delivery manager or driver who would do their work as required?? Why stick with these people who take us subscribers for granted? Advertise for responsible people willing to work like everyone else does--or be fired. How about it??? I'm about ready to say goodbye.....

Where is my paper?

I've been getting my Sunday Inquirer very sporadically. I see no reason to continue my subscription when I only get the whole paper one or two times a month. I didn't get it last Sunday, or the Saturday part yesterday. it is very frustrating. Every Saturday, I open my door and look out to see if the paper is on my porch. Every Sunday, I open my door and look out to see if the paper is on my porch. At least twice a month- sometimes more often - one or the other is not. Once the paper was left in my neighbor's fence. Luckily she is a very good neighbor and when she found it she gave it to me. Although very inconvenient , I had more access to the paper when I bought it from a store some distance away. ,Can you help before I need to cancel my subscription? Thank you.

Incredibly bad service

I have been an ardent Inquirer reader for at least 30 years but I am considering canceling my subscription. For the past 9 months, my delivery service has been ABYSMAL. Three missed papers per week is not uncommon. I have requested to speak to a manager about 25 times, and only once has someone called me back; he assured me my carrier would be replaced and that decent service would resume. What kind of 21st century business model is this when the product can't event reach an eager customer? I have no sympathy for the ailing Inquirer when it can't even get its papers to its customers.

I'm having a similar problem, yet the geniuses at the Inquired apparently told the driver who specifically was complaining. I now have a driver coming into private property and driving down my driveway at 4 a.m.

to throw the paper on my walk. Believe it is probably better to just cancel the subscription than to continue to deal with this delivery person.

Short Review on August 27, 2016

I get the weekend delivery. For four weekend, there were no delivery. Last weekend, I called to let customer services to inform them about the missed delivery. I was told I would get one before 1pm but never got one. I called a couple days after and asked to speak with a supervisor or manager and no one has returned my call. I am disappointed and upset how I am being treated as a customer.
