I find I have a problem with delivery. I only get the Sunday Paper. Since I had the problem before with not getting a paper or only part of it, I suggested the person deliver both the ads and the news sections on Sunday. They changed to a new person to deliver the...

Horrible service

On Tuesday Feb. 6, 2017, I received Monday's Feb. 5, 2017 paper. On Saturday Feb. 10, 2017. No paper. We called it in. Around 12:20 pm, the paper was delivered. Who wants to read the paper at 12:20. On Monday Feb. 12, 2017, no paper. Called spoke with customer service reiterated the problems listed above and other issues. Stated he would forward my complaint. Amanda from "distribution center" called left voicemail message to call her back, however, she did not leave the number which I was to call. On Tuesday Feb. 13, 2017, no paper. Called and spoke with 4 different customer service reps and final spoke with a supervisor, who stated "perhaps the delivery person does not like you" REALLY???? First, that a supervisor would even utter those words is incredulous to me. Second, I have NEVER even met this so called delivery paper. Also, my 88 year father lives5 hours away, he also is not getting his paper. I wonder what the supervisor has to say about that. On that's right: NOTHING. All they do is give you the run around, these are contractors, they don't work for the Inquirer, I can leave them a message, but I cannot forward your call to them. Never ending round and round. Nothing is eve their fault, they do nothing to fix anything. And they wonder why circulation/distribution is down? Goodbye Inquirer

I have not had a paper in 3 days. I know that the weather has been poor but to miss the paper for 3 days is absurd. Also when the weather is dry the paper is in 2 bags, but, when it is raining, the paper is in one bag. The previous delivery person was much better than...

7 Weeks and No Papers Delivered

I subscribed to delivery of 5 Sunday papers at a couponing event in October. Here it is December and many calls later, I have NEVER received one paper at my home. Now they are taking back my free gift because *I* cancelled. No, how about your carrier didn't do his job. Complete waste of my time (except for the workshop which I did enjoy.)

Exorbitant charge for obituary

I'm in the process of trying to figure out how/where to address my issue. I buried my mom yesterday in Philadelphia. She died in York where she had lived near me for 20+ years but she was a proud Philadelphian her entire life (88 years) I asked to funeral director to run a fairly brief obituary and photo in Sunday's paper. For this we were charged $933.12. My mom wanted it to be in the Philadelphia paper so I followed her wishes but this 4+inches of column space represented 10% of the entire funeral expense. There is something wrong. I feel taken advantage of at a terrible time. People read the paper for the obits - shouldn't that be something that both sides benefited from?

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Shame on that newspaper for charging a fee like that.

We lost someone recently and the local newspaper in the tiny town of Massillon, Ohio, wanted over $300 for a very small entry. Even the funeral home charged for a small notice on their in-house website.

Shameful exploitation of the living on behalf of the lost.

Dissatisfaction with delivery service

I have called many, many times concerning the delivery service from the Inquirer. This past Monday I received TWO papers, today no paper . This has been an on-going problem. Additionally I have asked at least 10 times to have my paper thrown up to the front door and this has not happened most times. I am a very unhappy customer and probably will consider going to another newspaper in my area!!! This kind of service is inexcusable. Many times I was this this would be "ESCALATED" to the manager. HUMM No improvement. A disgusted customer. 427 Chanticleer Cherry Hill N,J,

Not only have they quietly raised the price from $2 to $3 at the news stand as of the end of July 2017, they raised the price of the daily paper (inquirer and daily news) from $1 per issue to $1.50 back in May of 2016. It is practically written by the Washington Post...
